A Commentary

Our earth, you and I, as well so many others on this big blue marble all have the same thing in common:
Air - Water - Food - Sun. Those life sustaining ingrediants that are challenged everyday by the choices we make.
One simple thoughtless act and the very deliberate negative actions can diminish all these life sustaining ingredients. Why ... because of the bottom dollar.
I encourage you to make the conscious decision to educate and become aware of your options that just might improve your "Quality of Life," and at the same time ... ours.
Each of us has value and the ability to accomplish good and wonderful things. Sometimes it is as easy by (just doing) that makes such a difference.
The Amerimint Soil rejuvenator was one such product that started from an idea many years ago. Such a simple formula, being made from a by-product after our mint oil is extracted.
For at lest 100 years, this material went through many traditions from the burning of large piles, to spreading it back into areas with no benefit. It was even given as feed to dairy because of the protein content. This were thought to be a great idea until they found certain decomposition in the mint which was tainting the milk.
Also, for some years, it was sold or given away freely. It’s what I call the "raw stage," which at this point gave people flu like symptoms because of certain funguses.
So I set out in 1991 to find the best "end use" of the byproduct that could give back to the environment naturally, and assist anyone that wanted to put their energy and effort in improving their surroundings.
For the next three and a half years, I educated myself, tested, and collected data. I was busy mixing this, and mixing that. As I was going through this learning and testing period, I was developing my own compost method using this "one" material. Visitors would come and ask questions and offer help in my quest. I would respectfully decline for I knew that they were on a different mission.
You would think a project of this nature would receive a little support (it didn’t) until I had proven results. Then a little help came in as a $5,000 grant. I was so thankful for this, because now my efforts were not in vain. I remember all those years of people not knowing what I was doing, and some of them thinking they did. The comments I heard, “It will never work” which now make me smile.
“I don’t know what your doing but it wont work, you can’t sell that big pile!” Then one day that big pile was gone. “What are you going to do when you run out!” At that point, I just smiled and walked away.
It’s very much like cooking. The only difference is I am using a 5 yard bucket loader as my measuring cup.
This has been an interesting road for me and Amerimint Soil Rejuvenator. The most gratifying feeling has been the starting of my idea, and then doing it ... living it!
It has been 18 years now, and it all seems like just yesterday. I still have strong intentions for Amerimint Soil Rejuvenator and where it will have the most positive impact. Any suggestions?
So remember, there are some very good environmentally safe lawn and garden products out there, just walk passed the flashy marketing look, and listen to the people behind the product. You will be able to tell.
